Emozioni negative come rabbia e vergogna, l’isolamento e la stigmatizzazione sociale, la bassa stima di sé e la distorta immagine corporea riscontrati spesso nelle persone colpite dalla psoriasi possono associarsi a disagi psicologici clinicamente rilevanti.

Per questo motivo può essere di fondamentale importanza poter usufruire di un sostegno psicologico in un’ottica di prevenzione del disagio o di percorsi psicoterapeutici e/o psicofarmacologici qualora il disturbo sia già conclamato.
